Erithacus Rubecula. The Robin, Britain's favourite bird

Picture too big or too small, check out the page size options at the top right of the page. Just set it once and forget it.
The Robin has a melodious warbling song that can be heard for most of the year.

Robins are very territorial. During the spring and summer the territory is for breeding, for the rest of the year it is for the purpose of feeding. Robins will defend their territory to the death.

As Britain's favourite bird the Robin offers endless opportunities for bird photography.
