Erithacus rubecula - Robin		The garden birds collection Garden birds is a collection of photographs of birds taken in my garden, self evident really. Although some of the photos are older most were taken in the summer of 2010. In the spring I started the project of consolidating the contents of two aged garden sheds in one, and then demolishing the older. This gave me added space at the bottom of the garden and enough timber to build a small bird hide. After the hide was completed it was time to set up the 'feeding station' with various bird feeders, a bird bath and assorted perches. By mid summer it was time to start shooting in earnest. I spent several hours each day in the hide watching the birds, tweaking the set, and taking photographs.
