I was in Ryton woods yesterday, over 200 acres of semi-natural ancient woodland.

Being an intrepid explorer was all well and good until I realised I had no idea how to get out of the place. I was in the wood for twice as long as I had planned.

I am still enjoying my tryst with impressionist photography.
