Fallen leaves forgotten lives

Picture too big or too small, check out the page size options at the top right of the page. Just set it once and forget it.
After the rain and wind of the last couple of days most of the seasons autumn colour is on the ground.

I had walked through the churchyard earlier in the afternoon and the light was gorgeous. There were pictures everywhere. When I came back later with the camera the lovely light had gone and the wet leaves on the ground looked sort of sad.

The wind had left my sail and I was no longer sure what I wanted to photograph.

The gravestones are almost illegible, they are all over 150 years old. I got to wondering about their relevance today.

It was then that I came up with the caption ~Fallen leaves, forgotten lives~ and was immediately back on track and able to frame pictures accordingly.
