Stoke Old Boys first team, playing at home in the Powergen cup against Long Buckby on Saturday 17th September, 2005. I know very little about rugger except that my younger son Phil enjoys playing the game, and has recently joined the Stoke Old Boys second team. These picturs are the result of my attempts to learn a little about sport photography. Most of the time I used a 400mm lens that had sufficient reach for the whole of the pitch, but it is a little too powerful for action close to where I am standing.
